Not really an annoying word just a phrase."Domestos kills all known germs dead!" Well yes,we gathered that by the word "kills".The "dead" is surplus to requirements.
Every politician's favourite: "hard-working families".

I do say 'stay blessed' to people sometimes, but only if I think they've been blessed by something. (I wouldn't say it to someone with syphilis, for example).

I HATE, with a passion, the 'C-word'...not allowed to post it here and wouldn't anyway....I have been known to turn the channel over if I hear it on the telly box or walk away from conversations! I can't stand it. I don't know why though, it's just one of those words. I find it even more cringe making if I hear a woman say it and I really can't explain why.

Not a word but a phrase - when people say "Do you know what?........" when they are answering a question
Many people on TV do it and it annoys me every time.

The word 'lactate' makes me a bit gippy.
