This sounds sick but i'm actually looking forward to this storyline, it will be heartbreaking and i'm sure Eastenders will deal with it sensitively plus I have every confidence that Jessie Wallace and Samantha Womack will do it justice, with both of them being mothers too and it's bound to affect the actors/crew etc.

Chuffed Eastenders got highest ratings out of the soaps on Christmas plus Stacey getting away made it sweet, some funny moments in yesterdays episode with Kat/Ronnie/Shirley and the beetroot when Kat had a pregnancy scare plus Alfie telling jokes, Kim being hangover etc.

I'm dreading the cot death storyline and wish they'd not gone ahead with it, especially on New Year's Eve. I think the writing in Eastenders has been great recently (I'm a fan of all 3 soaps so impartial), but this is such a highly emotive subject and I think to choose New Year when most people are trying to look forward to better things is distasteful if not insensitive. #storylinefail!

Everyone complains about these storylines yet they continue to watch them... and it wouldn't surprise me if the producers continued to have such dramatic stories going. The ratings in EE keep going up and come the cot death episode I bet they really do pull in viewers.

Could you imagine a "happy christmas"? No one would bloody watch Im glad they do these storylines and hope they continue to do them.
