Hey.... through reading a lot on here I realise a lot of peeps have had worse years than me. I just hope it gets better for them and me
Bin a big year for me - left not just the family home - but moved to a new county - got a new job & a flat - all for lil ol me!
Miss everyone dearly - but am happy for the majority of time!
Will just have to wait n see what the new year brings!

yep, been a big year, for sure
. Personally has been good, but then for other family members its been the worst, so can see all sides. Last year was my year from hell. This year has been a bit like yours slim, one of doing things for myself and enjoying it.

Do you really need to ask? This has been one of the crappest (I am being mild due to forum restrictions when I say crappest) years of my life and I am soooooooooooo looking forward to the clock striking midnight at New Year and wishing with all I have that next year will be so much better.
2011 is the start of a new decade... it will be good, im sure of it!

I daredn't say "this year has been a bad un... next year has to be better" anymore.
I used to say it every year... and its like I tempted fate... cos every year would be worse... in fact it would make me look back on the previous year with fond nostalgia!
So, now I treat the year end as a little snapshot of my life... a "my life stocktake"... we're all still here this year... still skint, but surviving... still married with no desires for that to change... hubby still loving his job and for now it seems its secure, no serious problems with the kids... no problems at all with the dog! That'll do for me... for now!

I'm sorry to hear it's been a bad year for some people. It's been a great year for me. A lot of things have changed (much for the better). I have a lot of things I want to do next year which I'm kind of excited about but I can't complain about this year at all.

Honestly it's been my 'annus horribilis' in every way, there's only one thing that could happen to make it worse, and seeing as there is still 10 days left I am not going to jinx myself by mentioning what it could be *crosses fingers, toes and salutes all lurking magpies*PS. *takes scissors to snip away at UGGS* HOW COULD YOU???????

NEVER EVER EVER! I would rather die from being pin tucked with a thousand needles and dragged behind a speeding car than put a pair of those UGGLY UGGLY (I can't even bring myself to call them shoes) THINGS on my feet, in the house or in public.Reference:

not really! It took me weeks to overcome the guilt of spending so much on footwear that resembles womble's feet... but now the guilt has gone I can honestly say I feel the love for them every day!
especially at the moment... my nose may be falling off cos its so cold.... but my feet are toasty warm!
uggs are pretty manky but they do look quite good as slippers
