I could suggest where to get your underfelt.
haberdashery or most dept stores have a "section" for crafts - or a craft shop
I think boobs are always a nice place to get felt...and I have a special spot on my back that always makes me go mmmmmmmmm.....

I got some a few weeks back in Rymans. They usually have a stand with craft stuff on it and sell packs with about 8 different coloured sheets for a few quid.

When I were a lad there was a (men only) club in Manchester where you'd get felt to the point where you'd be bruised.
