oh I totally agree... and I can't vouch for the other styles of ugg... but I have the classics, and have friends who have the classics.... and they are quality... and they do last. Yes, they are expensive... but its not just paying for the brand.
I did look into getting Emu or similar ones from the Celtic Sheepskin company... I researched & researched... forums, & reviews... and anyone that had both Uggs and one of these other brands said the Uggs outlasted the others by years!
The other similar brands are only 20-30 quid cheaper... I decided that I was willing to pay that extra for the brand.. if I was paying that kind of money for boots may as well go the whole hog.
And... I have definitely had my ÂĢ200 worth of pleasure from them. Everytime I put them on I get a little rush of Ugg joy!
