There was a story about the Wooton Bassett vigils being stopped as well, there should be a protest about that, a peaceful one of course, wonder if that would be allowed

I agree with the right of every citizen of this country to be able to protest
however, the anarchists that are taking over these demonstrations are counter productive to the cause and in causing chaos, the real issue that is being protested is being lost as everyone focuses on the damage

My brother having been told 2 weeks ago that his job was safe for another year (he works for the Council in the Parks Department) was called to a meeting yesterday to say some in his field can expect letters telling them they will either be made redundant or moved elsewhere in the council. Those that keep there jobs will lose their weekend and bank holiday allowance. He's prepared to lose his allowances if he keeps his job
