best car I ever spent time in......
This is the best car I've ever had, mine was metallic blue with a white stripe over the right side.
Yay a car thread!
The best car I've ever driven (thus far) is a Beamer. The Mazda 6 is fantastic to drive too, though (very close second). 3rd is a Merc.
The worst was a Renault Megane convertible. The wing and side mirrors shook around so much that you just had to try and guess what was behind you (or risk turning round while trying to look forward). Even an owl would have had a problem with that pile of junk.
I once drove about 50 yards in a Ford KA (upturned bucket). It was sheer HELL. I was certain the bottom was gonna open up so I could just use my feet to move instead (would have been faster as well).

Got your new Escort yet col?
I've only ever owned three...but the best car I ever owned is my current car....Honda Jazz and I swear I will be Honda all the way for as long as I'm driving! It is a fantastic car, for the price you get everything you need...leccy windows, heated windows, remote central locking. The backseat folds right down, not like other 'hatchbacks' where the seat is at a 45 degree angle...this seat goes completely flat so you can fit LOADS into it.
It's not as smooth as the more expensive cars might be, but it that's the kind of car snobbery Jeremy Clarkson would bleat on about and for some one like me who doesn't drive ten hours 7 days a week, this little workhorse does the job nicely!

I've got a Honda Accord Coupe and it's the best car....EVER
I still pine for my Golf GTi I had 15 years ago. I bloody loved that car. It was white like Corey Haims in License to Drive. I drove it to death

Can you drive though Saz? What would be your ideal car?
Slightly OT. My fave mode of transport was a Honda SS50 motorbike. I bought it aged 16 and was the only girl at school with a bike. I was so cheap to run and apart from having a poxy 6volt battery and a bit of tappet rattle it was perfect.
My most horrendous car I owned:
Imagine it in BRIGHT GOLD!! It was my Grandads and he gave it to me when I passed my test and got himself a new car.
I could hardly say no to practically a free car but my street cred took a hit

It also didn't help that my Mum use to call it Pearl. Whenever I would go on a road trip with my friends she would always say "Look after Pearl" in front of them. Which would make me go "Muuuuuum, your embarrassing me" followed by a Kevin the teenager arm swing strop.

Rawky. It's seem to be a female thing giving their cars a name. Men do the same with their todgers.
I called mine 'Pete' when I was 12 years old, made the mistake of telling a 'friend' at school and it went round like wildfire
My 83 Mk1 Golf GTI(1800).Remember taking it for a test drive from HAWCO in Elgin and being shocked how quick it was.I knew instantly that it would be mine within minutes!.

I leave mine in the garage.
The best car i've ever owned is the one i have now, a merc, saying that though its not my favourite, i loved my old 89 Sierra Sapphire and still miss her madly, she never let me down, was always there when i needed her, she's been at the scrapyard in the sky for 7yrs now and i still feel sad that she ended up there but when the rot set in there was nothing more that coud be done for her. R.I.P sapphie... Best ÂĢ20 i ever spent.
