On 'the list' for lil gyps grandfather is 'Some new aftershave, but nothing too strong'  
Its such a hard thing to pick a smell for someone.  He is 65 but not 'old'. I have been sniffing stuff and come up with Christian Dior Homme. I thought its quite fresh and lemony???  Have you have smelled it? do you think this is a pretty safe bet?

Does anyone have any other favourite smells that are good on older men, that remind you of your dad etc.
