Growly, please can you tell me where on LC I can see the options?

Baby bunny - no, my brightness settings are fine - I've got 7 other windows open, and none of the others are this bright.
Yogi - if you go to Your Site, on LC, then Manage, then Themes, you can preview all the different ones.
Thanks Growly, I'll go have a look.

The burnt orange theme they've got today looks really nice, and there's a quite nice floral theme as well
I agree, the burnt orange and the spring flowers themes seem to be the nicest, but we'll what they come up with next.thanks el loro... never thought of that.. tch.... twill do in the meantime as my quote button isnt working
Me and Z have been C&Ping and changing the colour of the quoted text cos we are too stubborn to use FF instead of Safari
This one is easier on the eyes for me ..apart from the spots down the side tho. .an annoying distraction..
Problem is we probably all have different graphic set ups and screens or Monitors, . .some may have super duper ones and others not so super.. so all these fancy themes appear different dependant upon what set up you have. . keeping things a bit more simple is less likely to affect as many people than the complicated fancy stuff does.. isn't it better to design a forum skin with a basic graphic set up as the standard so the majority don't have problems. .Fancy bright stuff should be left for more specialised Sites perhaps.. in theory it's nice to be different but in practice long spells on gawdy webpages ain't gonna be good for anyone's eyes in the long term
and yeah I know my 'solution' is the boring one but it is the most practical..

I can't read your red 'quote' if it comes up on the grey band Reference:

^ this!
Let's have a nice basic (probably boring ) default skin, and then allow people to chose the different colours in their profile settings if they want

I am still peed off from yesterday's assault on my eyesight so I am now in "hard to please" mode.
I feel a bit like that myself!! Find this one so much better though. I wonder if the designer of the style that wins gets a prize?
I cold be open to bribes!
At least I can read the forum and post with these colours...much better than yesterday, but still a bit iffy
I like this one better than yesterdays but i still can't quote and i don't have any spots and i only have 6 smillies
I like it better than yesterdays, but it's a bit cold.
My avatar looks better on this one; it looked drab on yesterdays.

Hmm...can't see the difference today - is this the chosen colour?
I don't think they have changed it yet, Ninja. It's the same as yesterday.
Ah yes...forgot about the time difference.
Cheers, Yogi.

Is it eight hours? In which case I guess we have at least four hors before the change - what time did it change yesterday?

It had changed by 6.15 am UK time yesterday. Perhaps they've forgotten about us
It's not so much the colours which bother me but rather the wasted areas either side of the forum with brightly colored circles - seem rather pointless to me. If creating a word document you wouldn't create it with 2-3 inch margins on either side.
