I've just seen this silver 'Tree skirt' in John Lewis, £35. I like! Wish I could see a diagram of what it looks like on the tree though.

Absolutely .................I'd never spend £35 on the strength of that picture! Looks like you could by a remnant in the market and do that. I say 'you' cos I know I couldn't but I'd give it a go and make a proper pigs ear out of it

So....  Mr Ditty has NEVER bought a christmas tree in his life!!!  

And yet, has enjoyed the unwrapping his pressies from under my christmas tree for the last 7 years!

You're just going to have to remind him where the tree came from in the first place. Just pretend that you go all gooey and weak at the knees at the memory. I bet he'll be out at the shops bying you a bigger and better version in the blink of an eye.

So am I, although it's nothing to do with Christmas trees (I would happily burn them all this year).  However, I have recently took to watching football  AND have tonight put a bet on the west ham / man u match!!!!!!!!

Green tree dressed with blue, bronze and silver baubles and white LED lights in living room,black tree dressed with silver white and black in dining room,it's pre-lit with LED lights but I found the most gorgeous Snowfall effect LEDS on ebay so bought 2 sets to put on it as well.

The lights are fab Issy,apparently they were first used on trees on the Champs Elysee in 2008,I'm in no frame of mind to put my trees up atm but when I do get around to it I'm sure those lights will look great.

I have a pop up tree.Its up and ready in ten mins max.
