myopic, I'd say.
It's just a fellow feeling
I think being besotted can make you blind.
Being infatuated can make you blind.
Being desperately needy can make you blind.
But I think true love is not blind. It can see all - warts and all.

It has been in previous years. Though a trip to Specsavers and common sense from intelligent folk soon sorted that out.But given the choice, I'd rather be blind than desperate
Nope, love is not blind.
^^^^^^^^ agree's with Brisket

"Love looks not with the eyes, but with the heart"
So therefore true love cannot be blind.

Hmmm maybe. As they say, 'there's settling down and there's giving up'. Wise not to get the 2 confused!

If love is a pain is the neck - you're doing it wrong.

John Martyn managed it.
Depends what kind of love - when my daughter was born she was the most beautiful baby ever ..........now, looking at the pictures, although I still see the same lovely baby - I have to admit she could have given ET a run for his money

Oh true that, makes you realise that what you thought was love was nothing but a heartache.Real true love shouldn't be hard work.

I've never found that any kind of love is blind. When Growly Jnr was born I thought she looked just like Winston Churchill. But then I've never found any babies cute or appealing.

My daughter was an enormous great lard-arse when she was about three months old. I can still remember the looks I got when I went into work with her one day and someone described her as being 'bonny', and I replied 'no she isn't, she's a great fat lump'
so what do you call spades in your house?

I agree with Brisket's earlier post - true love sees warts and all
