TWUNT

ENERGETIC X Factor oddball Wagner has been getting incapacity cash - with the blessing of benefits bosses.

The Brazilian has become a hit on the ITV1 show with his bonkers singing and strenuous dance moves.

But despite entertaining millions of viewers for two months, social security chiefs have dished out cheques to the 54-year-old after he injured his shoulder last year.

Wagner, a former PE and karate teacher, had run a school called the Martial Arts and Dance Gym in Cradley Heath, West Midlands.

He is believed to have raked in at least ÂĢ91.40 a week in benefits and is likely to have been eligible for further housing benefit cash.

Considering he's set to make an average of 100k from the X factor tour alone, let alone the fact he can quite easily prance about on stage every week, I am failing to see how one could be so incapacitated that he needs Government handouts

The hoops I had to go through to get a wee bit more money are tenfold. I find it very disappointing that somebody like him takes the pee and doesn't get pulled up for it.

He may well have done Erin, but the point is he's been claiming the benefit and stating that he's unable to work. Yet from week 1 of the show (not to mention the VT's showing him doing Karate kicks through the audition process) - he was dancing about and seemingly quite able to use his shoulder that he claims was causing him sooo much distress.

It's just become a real bug bear of mine, before it didn't bother me but with the way this country is going and the amount of genuine people who are going to be severely affected it just does my nut in!

There is nothing to suggest that he is still claiming them at the minute. Also, he is not doing handstands around the stage.
No he's not doing handstands, but he's claiming a frozen shoulder as his injury and what is preventing him from working and thus claiming the benefit. Yet I have seen him dancing (and holding dancers).

Look the guy may well have had an injury in the past, but I know people out there who have to be near enough dead to prove there is something wrong with them and get the help they're entitled to. I actually don't hate Wagner at all, I'm glad he's there pissing them all off , but I don't agree that he is in a bad enough state to not be able to do a job. Yes, he can still sing with a frozen shoulder, but it doesn't seem to be something that affects him that seriously judging by his energetic, erm, 'performances'.

(I was going to add an exclamation mark but I thought better of it).
