I try to record anything with adverts in it, so that I can whizz through them.

I do tend to get advert songs in my head, and then coming out of my mouth, and then I find myself shouting at myself to shut up.
Mr Blizz tends to wait a minute and then hum the song quietly, to get it back in my head.

cologne, I hope you weren't affected by those awful floods!

I love 'Holidays are Coming' but do you remember an ad a couple of years ago (can't remember what company) 'it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas' grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr that was a tune that got inside your bloody head and wouldn't shift!
YESSSS!!! It was Asda in 2008 and it.was.on.every.bloody.time.there.was.an.ad.break

Sorry, just seen this. No, although we had a mighty downpour for about 20 hrs and blowing a gale. I heard tonight that 10 Downing Street is on a floodplane, so I don't know how they define that, we are a village in a dip, but it slants down further to the next major river (tamar), so I think that's why we escape, also Cornwall has a lot more inlets and that sort of thing.

This year's Iceland one was a bit of a shock...  last couple of years they have had really annoyingly catchy ones....   twas one of the ones (along with M&S & Asda's) that used to drive me nuts... cos I would find myself singing them.

The one with Nolan woman & Jason Donovan ...    they are in this years but the tune is the really loud Can Can music....  Moulin Rouge type theme.    "Thats why mums go to Iceland... thats why mums go to Iceland"

At first I thought "ha... this one ain't catchy...  ha!"

I may be wrong though....   its starting to infiltrate my sub conscious

Tis irrelevant in terms of getting me to shop there though...   it just isn't going to happen
