Is it right to derive entertainment out of seeing two men belting the crap out of each other? Just, ya know, wondering

I don't think this applies to tonights carry on. Modern dance might be more appropriate.

If only street fights had rules.
Bit repugnant though.

I didn't watch it but the comments on a football forum I'm on are saying exactly that.
Plain old blood sport .........what it's always been Nothing gentlemanly about it.
Glad I didnt pay box office for that crap tonight... footballers probably even deserve their money more than them two clowns (Haye/Harrison). Both just cashed in big time when there was less than 10 punches in the whole match.
I love watching boxing and MMA. (And nearly all contact sports). My boy trains in both and even if I was against them as a sport I wouldn't stop him cos at the moment it's what he wants to do. (Even though he broke a rib a couple of months back training in the sitting room )
People think that boxing just pays a good purse for not a lot of work, but the training involved is damn heavy going and you've got to be so dedicated.

Based on the reaction on the forums I'm reading tonights fight fits that description . It also fits more into the bloodsport category considering the outrage that Harrison apparently didn't fight back hence everyone feeling conned. Can't see the attraction myself. Are you feeling better today?

Well put it this way...Even Joey Barton actually threw more punches against Blackburn than Audley Harrison did in that fight...
2 men trying to hurt each other is ridiculous and degrading.
That publicity business they do in boxing before a fight when the 2 boxers glare at each like bitter enemies is just plain silly.

There ain't no blood involved when Audrey Harrison is involved, it takes two to fight.

That's what I'm hearing amidst all the shouts of 'FIX'.Bloody hell your boys were a bit drab today mate. WTF is the point of taking Tevez off when you are still chasing 3 points?
Hmmm well I'm thinking he was paid to take a dive if I'm honest. Haye retains his title, Harrison makes a good few quid on a flash in the pan comeback that will set him up again for the next few years...everyone's a winner. I've just never seen anything like tonight, there was no passion from Harrison, Haye said himself he planned to take him in the 3rd and got everyone he knows to bet on the 3rd for a KO so they can make a few quid too.
Summink don't smell right tbh.
As for me...crap day, only just really woken up even though I've been out of bed for hours. Peaks and troughs and all that gubbins. Thanks for asking though, really appreciated x

No idea... he did the same against Wolves, Adebayor was running riot over Wolves despite us losing. Mancini then took him off and stuck on Zabaleta. Today our own fans were actually shouting "You don't know what your doing"
Both made ÂĢ1.5mil over that apparently... I recon its more though.
If Harrison made anymore than ÂĢ1.50p then he has still cheated the british public.

He seems to be a subject of ridicule after that fight so I wouldn't doubt it. I hope things get better for you soon Karms x.Reference:

We used to sing that to Avram Grant which was actually a bit unfair to him since he wasn't really a football manager Reference:

Ta chook, will know more in a week about what's what but ain't gonna worry about anything in the meantime. The docs and the NHS as a whole are doing their best for me (finally) and I can't ask for more, they've been great in the last month (since I changed my GP). xReference:

Best of luck with that and let us know when you know
It's the only time outside warfare where someone can legally beat someone to death and walk away without any consequences.

Many boxers end up with brain damage because even with head protection the constant pounding is never a good idea.

I love it, it's a great sport! And no way did Audley take a dive, that's just how rubbish he is which is why, as the saying goes, he got booed on the way in!
