Been coughing my guts up, aching, sore throat, nose dribbling, even the Managing Director told me not to come in tomorrow. Been Tesco's bought loads of medicines, my bedroom shelf loks like a chemists. I need sympathy and a hug.

I'm the most dying... I have a really bad stomach bug and I feel like crud.
Hope your sniffles get better soon, Poolie.
My GP recommends drinking hot cordial but a hug works well too.

No, I suppose in a way it's a good thing being ill, it puts you off choccy but I'm being strong, both tins still sealed closed. I just made a max strength cold drink, gonna have 2 ibuprofen as well and some cough medicine as well and bed.
for Poolie and for Isadora. Get well soon.

Rawky I apologise - I know you recently lost your Mum and as someone who has lost both her parents in the last 8 years I know that I would have felt a little miffed as well.I know I didn't mean it like that and I am sure Poolshark didn't either. It is just an expression but perhaps not the best one to use. xxx
Thats ok Izzy
I guess after seeing what my Mum went through has made my 'priorities' go hay-wire. I know I probably used to say 'i'm dying' when I had the sniffles. I was being a hypocrite, sorry

It's all that alcohol you've been consuming. It can't be good for the human body getting drinking yourself tipsy every Sunday.
A few weeks ago when I was dying of flu, I bought 2 bottles of Beechams all in one and luckily for me I pulled through and lived to survive another day. Hope you get well soon mate!

Tsk,Nothing can cure a virus(colds and flu) Simple painkillers, paracetamol.Drink plenty of fluids etc and rest. That's it.If it gets into your chest with a greeny/Brown phlegm coughing up etc, then see your doc.I had to last Christmas, ended up with foul bronchitis, that needed anti-biotics.Colds etc don't.
