Did anyone watch masterchef last night, the right girl won i think. She was amazing...all those fish scales

Do they ever follow up what happens to the winners? id love to go and eat where she cooked. And last years winner steve, what happened to him?

apart from the title of pro masterchef i dont know. I wondered if Steve from last year got a fabby job because of it?

Yes, I did watch it. I think it was a close run thing between her and the clean shaven guy.

Gyps, I can't find any details of a winner's prize, as such. I think it's as Fluffy says^^^^^.
A couple of previous winners have opened restaurants and/or written books.

I've been avoiding the net and this thread all day because I hadn't seen it. I have now.. yeah.. she was the best, but I was rooting for David since the first round and I'm so chuffed he got to the final.

Yes I watched it... good programme

She was consistently good.. and a worthy winner... although I had a soft spot for David, cos he really had to battle his nerves all the way through.

Dave Coulson is head chef at one of my local restaurants,(pubs) although he came third, he has clinched a job
as a chef de partie at Michels Le Gavroche restaurant in London, he starts in January.

I really like him, cos despite being soooo nervous he kept going, and turned out lovely dishes....

I can't watch Masterchef, because the sight of Gregg Wallace stuffing his gob in close-up makes me heave.
And then there's that woman narrator's breathy voice: "And Derek has made Pot Noodle, with Pringle garnish.."

I am so chuffed that dave got a job at that restaurant. He really was passionate about what he did and i loved his cooking. I think it was his rice crispy pudding that lost it for him in the end.
