My kitten is old enough to bugger off on her own now, but I still want her to come in at night Who's right?

In my experience the cat is usually correct and will probably sit in the vicinity of your bedroom window to tell you. Round about 4am I fancy.
You are right. The cat is giving me grief (sp) as we speak. She's only a wee baby.

If you're sure she knows where she lives and knows the surrounding area it won't hurt to let her out, she'll come back on her own anyway.Reference:

Prom, you are right and I''m a controlling bitch. I just want to know when the wee one is in.
PS. She's never been out this late.

Don't worry. While you're worrying she'll be sitting around somewhere nearby watching the world go by without a care in the world. When she's hungry, she'll be back She's still not home. I'm worried about my judgement.

Hi CologneFew questions,,,
Has she been spayed ?
How long has she been out?
Did you feed her before she went out?
Prom was right. She's just walked in demanding food in her own inimitable way.

There you go!RE the questions - always let her out before feeding her and she will come back hungry,
If she is still quite young then don't let her out anymore tonight. That will come in time.
At the moment she is better off in all night and actually most cats are anyway,
You got it right - well done! Next time will be easier

Thank you Isadora and prom. I'm new to the cat scenario, I've had dogs most of my life and the cats have always been a sort of by the by, Reference:

Do not let her know that she could have been a by the by...You will suffer for the rest of your life
It will be fine - anything else just ask
