Shurrup you I'm trying to solve the greatest mystery of mankind here
Those of us available for comment in the early seventies filed this question under the umbrella concept "cosmic joke." then we used to giggle a great deal.

Scap Bamber make that Stephen Hawkings
To answer your question though, God knows. I've often wondered myself. I can only imagine (and hope) that there is another life form somewhere out there in a galaxy who are planning to get in their little ship thingy, road runner it all the way over to Earth and select some of us to take away.
I bet aliens don't have the bloody Tories running their country

They'd probably dissect you or something and use you in disgusting experiments. My alternative to the Darwin theory is some higher being is using us for its entertainment a bit like the Sims just plonking us down on Earth to see what we do next. I hope its computer doesn't blow a fuse Reference:

You couldn't rule it out
Don't know about Frau Koeln but I wasn't referring to 42. No! I was referring to the great friends of early seventies cod philosophers. Mr Red Leb, and that Afghani guy Mr Black.
Actually 42 is as good as anything.

I think I'll take 42 over that. I'm quietly pleased no religious nutjobs have hijacked this thread. Yet.
Whatever the answer might be, I'm a big believer in trying to enjoy the ride while I am here
We are here to make 'sexy fun time'

Why are we here?
that's for you and every individual to discover what feels right for you/them. I know why I'm here and it has nothing to do with "religious nutjobs" that you so charmingly describe
Why not?
^^^^ What Rawky said, but it doesn't have to be fun.

Prom hasn't actually described or accused anyone, just generalised about religious nut jobs. Reference:

True, I just could'n't feel a connection with his observation or assumption of "religious nut jobs" each to his own belief
