A friend of mine recently had stillborn twins - she'll have been at least 7 months

Aw. that's sad. Poor girl.

Not Hollys fault but I bet it doesn't help Lily seeing Hollys baby joys all over the press, internet and TV this morning.

My heart is weeping for Lily and her partner. Life can be so cruel. It happened to me 3 times A daughter at 24 weeks, and twins another daughter at 20 weeks and a son at 22 weeks none could be saved...

Sadly I know exactly how she is feeling right now and it's hell on earth.

I'm so sorry for your friend Saz - I hope she's getting all the support and help she needs. It's such an isolating time for her and her family. My thoughts are with them and their two beautiful angels.

Shame - poor Lily. 

She seems to have good support from her family, I'm not sure about anything else cos we're not dead close... I knew her from school and she was one of those people that always wanted children, I think she may have struggled a bit to conceive and was so excited when she found out it was twins I'm so gutted for her

Its very sad and I really feel for her having lost a boy and girl myself at around 20 weeks.  I've got two wonderful boys now aged 23 and 19 and feel so lucky

Pop star Lily Allen in hospital with blood poisoning

Pop star Lily Allen is in hospital with blood poisoning just days after suffering a second miscarriage, her spokesman confirmed.

Allen, 25, is being treated for septicaemia, and thanked fans for their messages of support.

She was around six months pregnant when she lost her baby earlier this week.

"She is responding well to treatment and her condition continues to improve," her publicist said in a statement.

"Lily thanks everyone for their messages of support and again asks that she and partner Sam Cooper be left alone whilst she recovers."

Allen had indicated she was unwell to fans on her Twitter site on Friday, tweeting: "I'm still very sick but the messages are helping me to be stronger. Thank you xx."

Friends of the star, who previously had a miscarriage when she was dating Chemical Brothers star Ed Simons in 2008, sent messages of support to the singer.

Myleene Klass tweeted: "Lily Allen and her partner Sam. I am so truly sorry and sad for you both and your family."

Emma Bunton wrote: "Thinking of Lily Allen and her partner at this very sad time. Sending them lots of love."

Fashion week

Allen started dating 32-year-old Cooper, a builder, last year.

She had started to wind down her music career in recent months and set up a vintage clothing business Lucy In Disguise with her sister Sarah Owen.

She performed at the Wireless festival in London in July and was photographed at Paris fashion week last month.

The star announced she was pregnant in August after being given the all-clear at her three-month scan.

She has released two best-selling albums - Alright, Still and It's Not Me, It's You - and has had a number of hit singles including The Fear and Smile.

There seems to be something going on with the time settings on this forum as my time settings are correct, but the above post says 9.59, though I posted it at 8.59.

And this post says 9.28 which is correct.

Fairly obviously it is impossible for me to post a later posting showing an earlier time

I have now discovered what is going on with the odd times found by people over the last few hours.

The Pacific Time Zone put back the clock by 1 hour at 2 this morning. It has taken time for the forum server time settings to get themselves sorted out.

On other threads postings that I made by 8.59 UK time are showing as 1 hour later than they really are. Postings made since 9.00 UK time are showing correctly. If you look at the Lily Allen thread you will see that I have made two postings today. The first showing a later time than the second time (as the first was made by me before 9 and the second after).

So provided your settings here are set to GMT, there is nothing for you to do.
