Have just read some of page 3 and it seems topic title has changed from comics to other things lol. Aaaanyway comics I used to read every week that I can remember were Beano, Dandy and Girl. I lived in a small street of 28 houses but there were lots of children. We'd all save our comics and every few weeks would swap them for others that were different to the ones we read, saved our parents some money lol
Dandy the Beano Topper oor Wullie and the Broons loved them I cant remember others I read..
my first comic was twinkle (and one christmas santa made a mistake -he gave me the beano annual and my brother the twinkle one! never trusted him after that) then it was bunty and finally jackie, although by that time my parents had a newsagents and i read them all
Beano,Dandy,Topper,Beezer,my brother got the "Victor".The when I was a bit older "Judy"..
Me and my brother also used to buy Marvel comics monthly..Wish I'd kept them they might be worth a few bob now.
