I have to have some sort of night attire on else I can't sleep
Whereas I can't sleep with anything on.
I do have a couple of pairs of those navy BA lounge suits that they dole out on flights;  kept them in case of emergencies.  Never had an emergency - so they're still in their celophane packs.

Think I'm going to have to invest in some slippers though; my feet don't keep as warm as they used to.  Can't sleep if my tootsies are cold.

Yeah, I've got a short sleeved cotton one too that I usually use after I come out the shower in the summer. Trouble is, it's falling apart and I've looked for ages and can't find another one to my liking
Buy another in case you do what I did some years ago on a Christmas Eve morning..........
I was expecting a new dressing gown for Christmas and I was wearing my ripped at the shoulder, stained with hair dye, old one. Went to the loo, the lock broke and after trying to escape for an hour & a half, my mum (bless her) phoned the fire brigade!!!!
I have never ever been so embarrassed especially when a hunky fireman joked, "What some women will do to get some men in the house"

I read this in the Readers Digest many many years ago.

A woman had just come out of the bath and dried herself when there was a knock at the door. So she covered her front with her towel and opened the door. The postman handed her a parcel, and she was wondering why the postman was looking over her shoulder. After she shut the door, she turned round and realised that he was looking at the large mirror which was futher down the hall.
