Try another port slim. on my last comp one of my usb port didn't work right. Sorry I'm not that techy, but moving my mouse to another usb port worked for me.

Get a Mac, none of this installation nonsense with Macs 

try another usb port and or unplug mouse - reboot and then plug in again  and see if the detected message comes up 

is this wired or wireless  ??

Only got Dairylea cheese atm Gel & I int sharin


Have tried other ports, even tried all my hub ports, but no luck...am going to try & download latest driver programme & get me a new microsoft mouse tomorrow..Thanks for your help ladies!


Rawky! I think it may be a tad cheaper my way ...my son has a Mac & loves it, so maybe when this puter dies a death I may invest.

God using the touchpad is sooooo annoying!

use in conjunction with your arrow keys, it tends to be easier if you're not used to the pad, especially for scrolling up & down, and left & right, well it helped me when I first started using a pad... you soon get used to it.      good luck

It's so touch sensitive Gel, I just have to hovver over it & the page shoots all over the place ...Thanks though!
