This is a new magazine aimed at the larger sized women.
Now my main truck with it is that it encapsulates size 14 - 20 as larger sizes!

Since when has 14 been considered large??

Historically I always thought 12-14 was the average sized woman.

Am I wrong?

And what do we think of the title?

Just as beautiful implies to me that even though you are not a perfect 10, you are still beautiful.... patronising or what..

I would love to hear what you all think and men - would you think a woman over size 12 was somehow repugnant?

As Mrs Merton says... "lets have a debate!"

I think what people are forgetting is that due to far better health care and maternity care women and men do tend to be bigger - I am talking about height and shoe size as well.
Therefore we will need clothes size to reflect this.
Whilst I am not denying the growing problem of obesity we just have to face facts that we are just getting bigger overall!
I mean go back a few hundred years - our ancestors were tiny!

Therefore a size 14- 16 is arguably healthy.

Tastes change over the years. Back in the 17th century, women who by modern standards would be regarded as obese were regarded as the height of beauty. The painter Peter Paul Rubens was famous for his paintings of "full-figured women" to quote Wiki. If you have ever seen one of his paintings you will know what I mean. Forum rules do not permit me to post a typical Rubens painting of such a woman, so you will have to use your imagination, and I'm not about to start posting a censored version.
