some categories are too wide - a shortlist or more than one vote would have been useful and should i have voted tactically, eg coronation st because it can beat eastenders or emmerdale because that is the only soap i watch?

I hope Harry Hill doesn't win again.  TV Burp was funny at the start but has worn very thin and must be the laziest gig in TV.  Time for Hill to make an effort do something else IMO.

IMHYCO  I think that the talent is there.  I'm not sure of how it all works though but.
Saturday in particular seems to be all about chasing viewer figures at all costs. I know that we all like to relax on a Saturday, some more than others   but there really is some dross going on. However hats off to Simon Cowell for being able to repeat the same stuff over and over again. Am I or aren't I? Faux arguments between the "experts!" Faux sensationalism involving the contestants. Same old songs, same old styles, same old guests. We should just give him all of our money.

I absolutely agree. I am sick of the same old format for saturday nights. But, my biggest bug bear is that in this country, we can't have a live show without 'phone ins, so that the television companies make more millions to spend on this dross.
