I have no intention of watching Downtown Abbey as it is written and created by Julian Fellowes - i didn't like his Gosford Park at all and it clearly is a very similar setting. Having said that, he is a logical choice for writer as he would have personal experience of that life style.

Ohh I don't like period dramas (I have one every month as it is ). The show I wish they would make a proper series out of is This is England '86. It's absolutely fandabeedozy and there's so much further they could go with it, but it's ending on Tuesday

It's this show.  I'm a bit surprised you hadn't heard of it....thought it had started on your side of the pond (another one of those shows we copied).

Amazing race is a show where teams race each other around the world arguing and performing tasks and things 

I am very much looking forward to it Xochi. I love period dramas, my favourite period being Tudor times, but, any costume drama is my cup of tea to be honest.

I loved the series of Emma the BBC did last year with Johnny Lee Miller

I liked Gosford Park too greeny!  

So enjoy it those of you who'll be watching.

And don't forget to avoid it El Loro!
