Road to Coronation Street? I watched it on Virgin catch-up over the weekend...One word...Superb! The acting was brilliant all round, and I really felt as though I had been transported back in time..Top notch!

Dont watch soaps ,found this on another site ,might be od interest to people who follow soaps.
The former Last of the Summer Wine actress will play Dorothy Hoyle - the mother of Becky Hindley's Charlotte.
According to the ITV soap's official website, Dorothy believes that Charlotte is going to marry John Stape.
Fergusson began filming the role earlier this week and will appear for six episodes.
Recent reports have suggested that Charlotte will be killed off

I really enjoyed it. The set was amazing!
I loved Jessie Wallace, she played a blinder. She did Elsie Tanner proud.
Also even if your not a soapy fan, my soap watching days are long gone, its good to see how something came about, how it is portrayed. It nearly didn't even make the screen. I find the background history of programmes interesting, and this being the longest running.
