I like using the "Original Source" range of products - made by Cussons and not tested on animals.
But for weeks now - no, months even - I have been unable to find any on the shelves.
Instead they seem to display nothing but Shower Gel.
Don't people use baths any more.
I saw a phone number on a bottole and rang the helpline.
A friendly woman said that Bath Foam is still made made. She also told me that the product is different from Shower Gel (a point I queried with her.)
So why do so many stores decide to stop selling Bath Foam and only provide Shower Gel.
I do not have a shower.

Hi BrisketI have both a bath and a shower. I shower in the morning and like to use the bath in the evenings... especially in the winter. But like you I have noticed that the choice of shower gels almost always outnumber the bath foam, and over the past couple of years have resorted to using baby bath .

I very rarely have a bath, but if I did I would just use shower gel in it - isn't it all just bubbles?

It depends on how much time I've got as to whether I have a shower or a bath. I must say I prefer a bath
I can't use any products except Oilatum stuff for either bath or shower (have both) as I have very bad eczema

That's what makes it appealling to me. When I do buy it, I don't even have to tell my 13 yr old to shower, he's in there for hours

Lily of the valley makes me think of my Nana, no offence or anything, it just does. Like the smell of Coal tar Soap reminds me of her too.

I bought Imperial Leather by accident about 6 months ago (wasn't paying proper attention to what I was picking up - story of my life ) but it's 70's cacky shite. I can't even use it to wash my hands cos they end up looking like Freddie Kruger's mitts. Dove all the way baby!

I can't argue that I've been a devoted follower of Dove ever since it launched. After using it for ages I tried another soap and you can certainly feel the difference.Oh I also love Matey bubble bath aswell
I remember those soap on a rope's, do you still get them at christmas now?
As for now, i use stuff from that Lush. I never know what it is i pick up, i just ask for a slice.

Same here too. I just wish they hadn't discontinued Green Day - my fave solid bubble bath ever.Add Reply
