Because too many people start banging on about it in August (yes I know it's September, but round our way shelves have been stocked since August).
If I had my way, shops could only stock Christmas tat 30 days before Christmas Day. TV and Radio cannot start adverts for products or shows for the same period. Anyone talking about Christmas should be fined ÂĢ1000 until 30 days before.
December 26th - all talk of Christmas to cease until the following year.
Finally, everyone who is really into Christmas should attend church at least 30 times a year.
Yep, you probably guessed from my mild rant that I can't stand the whole hypocritical commercial panto that is Christmas.
Oh, and people should not be offended when they wish me a Merry Christmas that they get just a smile.
Caution: any thread about this particular holiday period will unleash an almighty sh*t storm from me.
