But things which have become almost a fixture in your life. Things which have now developed into something you do in and day out, because they make your life easier.
Small things which help you.

For instance:-
> for as many years as I can remember I have always had a black bic pen available (sometimes a Staedler, but invariably a bic); within reach most of the time.
> for years I have always had paper handy; I now use those sticky note-pad things.

I always position my toothbrush at exactly the same angle so that it's easier to pick up in the morning.

I do the same thing with my computer chair. Angle it the same way, always.

Come to think of it, I do it with my mobile phone and glasses too.

I always take great care shaking and smothing out washing and hanging it just so in order that i don't have to iron it.

Oooh I do that with some stuff aswell (depends on the material). But I remember reading about it on C4 years back and it's saved me a lot of time (might have been you that posted it? Can't remember)

I always have a Staedler, no other pen will do, and it has to be black, I just can't seem to write with a blue pen
