I try not to say I hate a HM but I have said I detest, loathe and can't stand quite a few of them, over the years.

Loathe definition - to feel intense dislike, disgust, or hatred for.

So, is that worse than hate, then?

whichever word is used here it is taken in the manner of which the reader wants, and not always rightly so

"Loathe" is a great word - it just rolls off the tongue

Drat, in that case, I hated loads of them.

Hate can also de defined as "To dislike intensely" so yes  I do hate some housemates.

I hated Dave for the fraud that he was and still is (and if I ever encountered him in that bloody wheelchair I still don't know if I could stop myself pushing the twunt under the nearest bus). What I have hated the most though is the bigoted, homophobic and transphobic views that have appeared on here, C4 and DS over the years.

Oh, and I hated Rob78. One leg or 2. He was a misogynistic, bigoted, homophobic pilchard.
