My TV is making a funny ticking noise like a clock on speed and wont come on. Any ideas? Thank you.

It could just be a dry joints on the line output transformer, if you can ask a TV repair shop for a free estimate it might be worth fixing....

If its under the 2 years I think you can take it back the shop under the sales of goods act, was it a big well known shop cos they type in you details when you purchase....

If it's not under extended guarantee you can still get them to repair it. Contact your local trading standards office and they will be able to help you

there's a reasonable expectation that a TV should last longer than 2 years!
