O/T I'm concerned that I'm a bit odd....

So the other I had curry for dinner. Not a big fan of curry, but my Dad had cooked it so I was happy to eat. However, when I have a curry, I do like popodoms(sp?) with it. Unfortunately Dad didn't have any popodoms....

So I thought I would use my initiative and instead of popodoms (how the feck do you spell it?) I used....cream crackers. I didn't think much of it at the time, and it tasted quite nice with the curry.

But its been a few days since the cream crackers and curry incident....and now I'm starting to feel guilty, even ashamed. Have I insulted the popodum?

You should have used pringles....cream crackers are too thick to use as a popdom substitute.

I have to have poppadoms too... pah to naan bread!

And.... I have found myself in the "have curry, don't have poppadoms" emergency! I think I may have over dramatised the issue cos hubby went and knocked up a poppadom substitute for me... he made me tortilla chips by deep frying flour tortillas...

they were really nice!

Curry is the food of the gods.

I think cream crackers would work Rawky -I am a big fan of the cream cracker and often will have them as a late night snack with marmalade or marmite.

They are also great dipped in soup.

I have never been able to wear flip flops as they are agonising.

Cream crackers are OK ............carrs water biscuits so much better.

Carrs WB was one of my food addictions in pregnancy.

For four months I lived on Water biscuits, raw carrots, red apples and cream cheese with walnuts. Brealkfast, lunch, dinner ansd supper ............and snacks inbetween

I love poppadoms with the stuff you get in the little silver bowls while you're waiting for your starter. A curry aint a curry unless curry leaves are involved
