Nah she's lovely!
He was kidding, I think he likes her...he's always more catty with folks he likes, hence his and Nadia's constant mock bickering and bitching, they get on very well in r/l.

of course he was ...... and even if he wasn't, I wouldn't agree.
She gets his humour, and no I don't think she's a skank, but he did make me LOL when he said it

Yes, I think I read something like that. I know they still meet up a lot...he mentioned her almost straight away in the house and said she was his best mate

Brian was jokingly using the term for someone who goes from one fella to the next i.e. she was flirting with Coolio, he went, Victor came in, and she turned her attention to him
So skank is a term to describe what most unattached women do?
He may have been joking but I could not help get the feeling there was biatchy dig at her along the way as he did keep on a bit, I suppose if you smile jokingly you get away with it Brians way sometimes of getting his point accross to the HMS and the audience = the public.

I think that technically it means promiscuous GJ....but yeah, sort of
He was only joking...and Chantelle has been around the block a few times since her BB, but wwhatever a *skank* is, she's not one, and both Brian and Chantelle know that
She has nice clothes

I had to look it up:Skank Derogatory term for a (usually younger) female, implying trashiness or tackiness, lower-class status, poor hygiene, flakiness, and a scrawny, pockm...As much as I like Brian, he is not best placed to call Chantelle a skank
what is the equivalent for a guy, anyone?

Hi Marg..I find that with a lot of Brian's one-liners. I've an Irish friend who uses the term 'a joke with a jag' and I think that's what a lot of his 'humour' is. I just can't warm to him at all.Reference:

Sorry for the delay. I'm mekkin' us tea. I was making reference to Shane MacGowan, or I could have mentioned Pete Doherty. Both extremely talented writers, but both, what my Irish mother-in-law would refer to as "a mess!"

Not all
Apparently not.

It was the urban dictionary definition!
Indeed! That's why I asked. The term didn't feature in Chambers C20th although mine is an old edition.

On wiki it just says: a slang term for a promiscuous person, usually a womanReference:

That's the way we would use it here, I think that's how Brian meant it too in context of the joke.
