I am always getting wasps nests in the garden I have had two this year I spray Raid on the outside of the window ledge it helps stop them from coming through the window as they dont like the smell,I have a fly catcher and if one does get in I use it then let it back into the garden, if I cant catch it I spray raid in the house within minutes it is at the window trying to get back out, I have been stung many times I am so scared of them especially if they get into the house.

I suppose you would fit under 'Casually flap your hand at it' seeing as you are trying to shoo them away without hurting them.

If in the house I catch in a cup and let them go outside. If outside I run away screaming. I have been stung 3 times all while standing still. Big toe, Elbow and the back of my knee

Seriously, I tend to stand still and ignore them. I was wearing a high viz jacket recently, now that is like the best wasp attractor ever.

WOSPS  as i like to call them, only need to be asked nicely, and then they will usually leave via the nearest open window

MOFFS on the other hand are evil and need to be ran away from with as much arm flailing as one can muster

Exactly Even though they are Bog's creatures. As I said before, blowtorches and  small thermonuclear devices. Failing that one could 'tice them into a wheelie bin and shut the lid after 'em.

The last time I ran away screaming from a wasp I tumbled down a hill.

Scream and run!  The worst is when the bloody things get in the car, that happened the other day as I was turning into Asda's car park ~ my car has never been parked so quickly!!

I hate the things ~ have been stung a couple of times.  Now Bees I don't mind as they do a lot of good in the garden and will only attack and sting if absolutely necessary, wasps I'm sure just do it for fun.  If a bee gets in the house, I will try and capture it in a cup and put it outside, if a wasp gets in, after screaming and running, I will kill it.

Make them an omelette. 

I was eating a steak at a bbq once, a wasp flew near me, I swatted my hand (the one holding the steak knife) in it's direction.

The wasp hit the floor in two pieces. I had sliced it in half with the knife.

I hate wasps .......last week my dear little grandson was on a camping holiday - him and a friend disturbed a wasp nest - he got stung 5 times. Poor lil thing!
