Mr Black And White. He didn't actually say that, but when he comes out of there he'll thank me for saying it on his behalf. Chantelle to win, John M second. These are my hopes.

He's the best housemate in there. No doubt about it. There are other good housemates, but he is better than they are.
Although I agree with his comments on Josie's romance he relishes being rude and insensitive to others and just seems to go through his life (at least on TV he might be really nice in reality) pissing people off for his own amusement. The more hurt he causes the more he seems to like it. I hate his politics and general attitude too.
Too early to say at this point who I want to win but I do find myself in the odd position of agreeing with McCririck for the first time in my life - something I never thought would happen.

The title reminds me of the sort of musical gem that Elaine Page might play on R2 when we drive home from Sunday lunch. Mebbees John Barrowboy could sing it.

Me too! Scary isn't it?
So why don't you want him to win?
We're all what we are and aren't what we're not lol. Sort of person I'm not is to say what John said, even if I thought it I wouldn't say it especially in the way he did knowing as he was watching that she was vulnerable about would John still like her on the outside. Just my opinion

I wouldn't mind if he won I just think Chantelle needs a 'feelgood' boost a lot more than he does.Reference:

He seemed genuinely upset that he made Chantelle cry. That wasn't an act, no ToT at work there. He's a pantomime villain, not heartless at all.Reference:

Yes it is, I hope I don't end up deciding to grow my sideburns out to mutton chop proportions and take to wearing stupid hats and doing all that tic-tac nonsense when the racing is on TV. Reference:

Undecided...too early to callReference:

You'll end up looking like Marcus with McCririck features...that would be sad. There must be a cure for incipient McCririckitis...or we're sunkReference rometheus

I agree in that instance but in others I'd say it is a valid criticism of his character.
Fine older men with magnificent facial hair need a boost too.
And people LOVE making their ex cry. Don't they?

He's maybe one of those people who speaks before he thinks
He is, he's amazingly unaware of the effect his words have on people around him considering his age.
Most people are.
He's had his last rant I think...he's in silent mode now and no company for anyone
He wants to go so am sure he'll stay this way...better for him to go now

Note the way you haven't suggested resorting to wearing huge white saggy underpants. Hmmmm *strokes chin*
He can be incredibly rude and insensitive, but that is just him. He can also be quite caring and sensitive. The man is like John James - there are two John M's

Sorry LL - I have to disagree.John M is funny, he is outspoken and yes while he can be darn right rude he will at least apologise.
John James would never apologise and didn't have the wit or intelligence that JM has.

Or the devastatingly good looks and sex appeal

I suspect he does that villain thing to keep others at a distance. I don't think he likes people to get too close.Add Reply
