When it comes down to it, the majority like to vote for their chosen one.
Also I would have thought most supporters would like their chosen one to win on their own merits rather than by clearing out the opposition.

Blame BB ,they are the ones doing that regarding Josie.If Sam stays until the final ,then its a vote to win,even playing field.
