I think Cheryl discovered a cure for malaria. She went from death bed to trips to USA. I think the cure was a certain Pussycat Doll who was getting on so well with Simon.
In my opinion she made a mockery of the seriousness of the illness, from being on deaths door one week to jetting over to LA for a spot of coffee with her new beau about 7 days later. There are countless celebrities who do a lot of humanitarian work but they don't need to push it into the public eye every day.
I agree with Meaty, at least she's using her sleb status to do some good and raise awareness.... these charities can do all the appeals they like, but when a famous person fronts a campaign, they get more publicity, which has to be a good thing
I am not a massive fan of CC as I think she is over-rated and not terribly talented, but i dont dislike her, and i cant understand the problem with her doing this; i think its a nice thing she is doing and actually respect her for it. i think if someone plain dislikes someone, no matter what that person does, they will be dissed for it. it's like the HMs in the BB house; if someone is hated by a particular FM, no matter what they do, it's wrong
