Same here Suzy...   and twice when I had calls from teachers at Ickles old school to say she had done something wrong... I would be all supportive of the teacher & apologetic... only to find out once I had the facts that my daughter hadn't actually done anything like what was being accused of.
It's a pain ditty, but luckily my kids understand that I'm not one of those mums that are always steaming in to defend them (I know what they're 'capable' of). But I am, and always have been a little fearful of authority. I'm glad though, it's what has kept me on the straight and narrow

You know Suzy, I moan about it because it is thick and shiny, but it's a pain in the arse sometimes, it takes forever to dry even shortish as it is now and it has a slight wave which means 15/20 minutes every day with the straighteners.  I would love fine hair at times!!
I don't suppose we are ever happy with we've got when it comes to hair pink. Mine dries very quick but it instantly frizzes and goes in to a matted ball. I'm a slave to my ghds usually too, but this summer/humidity just gave myself a break and tie it back every day (in between hairdressing days).

I have a similar problem - only in the humidity mine just goes fluffy.
