no Karma.. you haven't missed it... they actually get more & more frequent as it gets closer to dawn!
you have to stay with it... but there were some fab ones that we saw tonight... its addictive.... you are just about to come in and woooosh ... you see a big one and you are out there for another half hour.
Also.... tonight is the night there are the most shooting stars..... they will still be about tomorrow... and for a week or so after... just not as frequently

Oh great. Just been standing in the garden looking up at the sky in my dressing gown and pyjamas and the bloody chavvy teenager from the house opposite has caught me looking like a right twit.
hahaha!the first time I watched them, daughter & I were on sunloungers in the garden all night... drinking bottles of stella... the lad next door kept coming to his window and peeking out at us to see if we were still there..
DUH I just went to try and click 'like' on your post It's even worse cos he's my son's mate and my son acts proper cool and hard around him. I cant wait for the wrath when he comes storming in tomorrow and tears strips off me for being the most uncool mum in the South East

what makes it worse is that the weather reports on the news keep saying that where i live in the west is the best place to see them and there maps show a beautiful cloudless sky
