Josie is thuggish and also drips poison in peoples ear... she is intimidating on her own account. Rubbing JJ up the wrong way by nomming that silly vile rag doll  JJ's comforter..is not something anyone wants to do...

The only 'poison dripping' that I have seen her do, was about Queefer, who is long gone.

She did her best to het him to bite at Sam and she is still attempting to get JJ on side re: Keeva.. Josies pretend telling offs are a device to make her look good and reasonable. Nothing to do with decency.

Oh yes, I forgot about Sam, but that was very understandable, considering what he was saying to her, IMO.

I disagree that they are pretend telling offs. They disagree about lots of housemates, and always have done.

Yesterday she was giving sam a wedgie in the pool. It went beyond a joke (not that it was funny in the first place) She was down right nasty and thuggish.

Not surprised Blizz that you don't hear Josie admit that she has a real nasty streak and that she holds grudges.. Even JJ admits he never met anyone so willing to physically hit someone when she hss a disagreement..None of this surprises me Bizz in your assessment of Josie..

OK, I didn't see the wedgie incident. I saw them after it and then seemed to be very friendly, so I can't really judge that.
Considering what he did to her the other day, near the pool, I think she has been quite restrained, tbh.

Well, we all see things differently, but that is what I see.

I really don't think she is that bothered by any of it. She has offered to be replaced in pretty much all the SAR tasks and doesn't take noms that seriously.

Everything she does or says is either taken literally, or taken to mean the opposite, depending on what suits, IMO.

I see a fun woman, with a self deprecating humour, who loves a bit of banter and doesn't like bitching.

I remember the night he started his Rachael rants. He was outside with Josie and Govan and they both couldn't believe how worked up he got. They both told him that he was going way over the top.

Her reaction when he did start on her, was that he wasn't going to treat her like he treated Rachael and she walked out of the room, causing his first hissy fit, and his first 'I'm going to leave' episode.

The fact that they have ended up being close in the house, has a lot to do with her fancying him, no doubt, but also the fact that she did manage to put her foot down with a firm hand and tell him that he wasn't going to treat her like shit, like he did with Rachael, and he did calm down.

As I said, she and Corin both told him he had treated Rachael badly, last night, and hadn't even given her a chance.

Pity they didn't do and say more for Rachel1 at the time though...One thing I did like about Shabby & co was one time he was laying into Rachel about Mag deals...Despite the fact Corin, Ife, Keever, and Rachel were all talking about it...and Shabby, Ife, Keever, and Corin let him have with both barrels...He soon piped down after that.

To this day, that still rankles with me.

i'm with blizzie.........i'm afraid josie is blasted whatever she does.........there is not one h/mate in there who hasn't bitched...........if josie laughs she's being evil......if she keeps quiet during a bitching session she's supporting it by not saying anything......if she says anything to john james re his bitching she's still supporting him....if she tells him she wants to sleep in a different bed she's 'winding him up'....if she stays with him she's 'looking for a showromance'........

we'll never agree on the subject of Josie...yes she has told him off, but while he was ranting on at someone, she has just sat and smirked. Sorry, she's no angel, she's playing her game and has got away with it because she's attached to JJ...without his backing, she'd have been long gone( that might be wishful thinking)

I said it was probably wishful thinking on my part. I don't know, without JJ's long shadow she would have had to manoeuvre for position herself....and then her sneakiness etc would have been more obvious to the rest of the HMs
