Sam began an argument with the smokers in the house this afternoon after claiming that they appeared to be receiving extra tokens at the expense of food for the housemates.

The conversation started after Andrew had suggested limiting them to one token a day for food for the duration of the Charles Dickens task, saying that one housemate could stay in the kitchen for a few hours and make all the food for the day.

"Yeah but we've dedicated five tokens a day for cigarettes," Sam queried. "Food is more important than cigarettes."

Corin, Rachel and Josie then joined the argument as all three of them smoke, and claimed that each housemate had a set number of tokens which they could use for anything they want including showers or cigarettes.

"We don't get anything because we don't smoke," Sam told them, adding that the smokers always ensured they have preferential treatment.

After using a token for food and beginning to prepare the housemates' lunch, Rachel continued to argue with his claims that she uses more tokens than he does.

"I need food to live, you don't need cigarettes to live," he shouted at her, as Rachel became increasingly annoyed that Sam wouldn't listen to her.

David and John James seemed to agree with Sam's point that having only one token a day for food is not a good idea.

John James said that although Sam was correct, the way he had approached the situation had been wrong as the smokers left Sam to cook while heading off for a cigarette.

I don't give a pooh tbh,if I am prepared to be negative about HM's I'd like to win the same applies to those I'm less keen on
Me neither. I could see what a bumbling oaf Ben was in the house, and still managed to like him, without agreeing with his politics or world view. I like Corin too, but can understand if she's not everyone's cup of tea.
