Ben and Corin.
How did you come up with that one? I haven't seen them spend much time together. I'm sure he told Corin what a fantastic friend she is and how much he loved her at some point (he did the same to Keeva just to get her 'on board') but I don't see any real friendship between Ben and Corin or in fact Ben and anyone at all. He slags off his supposed best friend Mario all the time and his 'friendship' with Dave doesn't come anywhere near being reciprocated apart from Dave claiming to love everyone.

Ben is an insincere user

If being a user or insincere are reasons to dislike someone then all the housemates stand guilty (except the news ones, but their time will come).  It's annoying that people like to point out that Ben is somehow in his own class of insincerity when others are arguably far worse than he is, and by this logic all the housemates should be telling eachother to F off whenever they try to hug one another.

Josie's fake affections for Andrew leave my toes curling because I'm cringing that much.

John James broadcasts most days that everything about the place is fake and he treats it as such.  Therefore his sincerity towards other housemates could be brought into question.

How about Mario.  Always worried about how he's being perceived.  Making sure he behaves in a way that he thinks is acceptable to the viewers.  Does it follow therefore that things he says to his friends is fake?

Then there's Dave.  The biggest user of them all.

Some Ben hate lately has been almost laughable, it is so blinkered.

Try supporting Josie!

Ben latches on to people and constantly impresses on them how much he loves them and what good friends they are.

Next minute, he'll be in the viper's nest bitching about them to Dave, whilst saying how much he really loves them, as a person, and what a good friend he has been to them.

He just makes me cringe, now.

Sorry Prom,  I don't know how to multi quote on this.

I didn't suggest they are best friends, but genuine friends.  They've had some really nice moments together, and still do although the JJ and Josie domination of highlights tends not to show this.  I don't think you need to be glued together like John James and Josie are.  Also Ben refuses to bitch about Corin when Dave and John James get going, infact I often think that Ben's refusal to hate "the right people" is what gets him in so much trouble.  He is an individual and John James doesn't like it.

He slags off his supposed best friend Mario all the time

Mario isn't his best friend.  Let's be realistic about this.  Mario wanted the "first BB gay romance" trophey and figured Ben would be his best bet.  Having failed to make this happen Mario has been rude and sulky towards Ben pretty much ever since; constantly getting cheap digs in to Ben and more often behind his back to others.

his 'friendship' with Dave doesn't come anywhere near being reciprocated apart from Dave claiming to love everyone

I agree with this.

Because he is ignorant.  Sulking in the toilet because he wasn't getting attention.  I find him really objectionable as he loves it when he is surrounded by HM's cuddling him and the likes, but as soon as the attention is on someone else, he sulks.  Childish.

Absolutely Senora.  When he first went into the house, I really liked him but have gone off him over the weeks because of all of the above.

I especially noticed with Ben when Keeley was injured and Corin was worried that she might be blamed for continuing with the task Ben was there to hold her hand and reassure her.  The over the top hatred of Ben is just making me laugh now. I'd love it if he was my friend.

That is a spot on assessment of Mario as is Senora's when she mentions his sense of entitlement and petulance. I have always felt from the beginning that Mario is the most desperate to win and subjugate's his behaviour in the house most of the time.

only Mario is allowed to kiss and paw at people at any given moment whether they want him to or not.
