for some reason Ben doesn't like to shower in the house he uses the outside Loo that has a bidet and spends a lot of time on the upside down shower  .  .he is very fond of it he says

and it was both Mario and JJ that mentioned they had hardly seen him wash in the house.. and he didn't discover the bidet until two weeks in..

I ahve seen him regularly smothering himself with aftershave too...  to hide the pong? 

We call that 'polish on dirt'. It's the French way

Yes Olly. I went to stay with a family in Chambery for 2 weeks when I was at school (exchange programme). They were astounded that I had a shower every day. When my French 'sister' came back to my house later on that year, I think she had 3 full immersion cleans in 2 weeks

I do recall that most European countries had a distinct lack of deodorant on their shelves too. .in fact for some it is a recent invention, especially for men, even now

I haven't noticed Ben looking grubby tbf, I think Steve and Dave look grubbier than him.....but how can we tell

Just noticed on LF....that Ben wears gunk in his hair which is why it looks clogged up
