Did Dave say to Josie something about being a Gypsie

When they were at the smoking bench,Josie mentioned her hair being big and Dave said something about her hair and skin saying the word Gypsie , then said I just stereotyped a whole culture.
Does Josie come from Travelling people?
Not that it matters ,I just didn't know that.

I think she stated one of her grandparents was a traveller,not sure.There was a big thread about this over on DS,it got a bit nasty to be honest in parts.

Her mum is a horse trader and lives with an Irish Traveller.

Josie used to go with her to horse fairs, so I presume she's mixed in their company a fair bit.

Josie's grandmother is on the run after being found guilty of cocaine possession and intent to supply, reports The Sun.

Diane Gibson was found with £240,000 worth of cocaine in the boot of her car in 2000, but skipped bail before sentencing.

It's thought the 72-year-old may have fled to Spain.

"Josie was too young to remember when it happened," revealed her aunt. "I imagine she will have mentioned it to Big Brother. But we haven't discussed it. The whole thing tore the family apart, but over time we've learned to deal with. We never talk about it now."

Big Brother have confirmed that they were aware of the situation, adding that "all housemates passed their police checks".

I've just remembered that Josie has loads of "husbands" who she has only recently met so it doesn't register that some people actually marry their husband.

My grandparents were gypsies and settled in Cologne about 1920. Bad move. Anyway, all my family (going back a couple of generations) are dark; hair, skin etc. proper Romany. Josie looks nothing like a gypsy and wont be one by association to her mother's boyfriend either.
