Are any of the people that go on BB really to be admired though?

Well, according to the thread title, one group - walkers should be disowned.
How does that answer relate to the question Saz posed?
Walkers should not be lauded at all.
Can I suggest that if anyone wants to worship and applaud these people, they should join forums that encourage such pre pubescent behaviour.

Shut your bloody trap! I reserve my empathy for exceptional situations, like a documentary I watched recently about babies being raped by grown men in an attempt to cure them of AIDS. Not for a a Twat in a Hat like Shabby. Got that?!?
Thanks - but this is a Big Brother forum, a Big Brother thread and my thoughts and opinions relate to said show.

However, apologies if my comments offend - will leave this thread alone now!

Oh my, The Daily Mail - sorry GaGa JoyJoy popular opinion league have spoken! Walkers: Hang 'em Damn cowards why are they on me telly screen Burn the witch - she's evil - i didn't get a chance to evict her Blah blah blah rant rant rant Except of course, some of us have empathy for the reasoning and motive behind unpopular decisions - even admire the actions of folk the place their personal reasoning on a higher plain than a RTV show. Seemingly C4 have a little understanding that some of their viewers (the non caveman/cavewoman variety)want to see these quitters - such as Shabby She reckons quitting was a massive mistake - well yeah, i can relate to that - i've made many mistakes myself.
I find it odd that the people who walk go through all the crap to get in the house to begin with. I wouldn't imagne the audition and selection process is easy.

Why should I admire someone who had enough balls/stamina/hunger/greedforafewquid to go through the whole process to get in the house and then walk after LOTS of weeks (i.e. Kevin) because they (suddenly) get a conscience of what their partner might think of them/how it will affect their career/whether the cat will ignore them for going on the tele? Or is there any chance that maybe they think they've done enough airtime to earn a few quid out of interviews (not that I'm being cynical or lacking any empathy or owt Cold Sweat)

haven't read through this thread any maybe other opinions might have swayed me but as it's the last BB, does it really matter?  Those who walk do so for their own reasons and stresses.  When all said and done, they're only contestants on a TV show who have entertained us and came to a conclusion they'd had enough of being on the show.  It's not as if they're in the army and have walked out on their comrades.  I'm sure most of us have walked out of a job or relationship that hasn't worked out despite high hopes.

They've still provided entertainment (of sorts) so to cast them as untouchables seems a bit harsh, especially as the z list sell-by-date of BB housemates is so short now the show's got a lower profile.

In the past quitters have gone back to oblivion without any sort of accolade from BB or C4 or the agents and press. Seems like C4 are arranging this now to get back some viewing figures IMO.

I'm not sure that's entirely true.  Usually the quitters are the minor housemates, which the agents and press aren't that interested in.
