Davina McCall has accused Andrew of having a "gameplan" in the house.

McCall said that she thinks the 19-year-old student from Wimbourne is playing up for the cameras and argued that he is attempting to play down his intelligence.

Speaking to the official Channel 4 website, the presenter explained: "I think he's tricky. I think he's got a gameplan. His whole thing recently, he always does the thing that will win him the popular vote."

She added: "He's not stupid. He's a clever boy."

Andrew is currently the fifth favourite to win the series with odds of 8/1 with Paddy Power

Davina said this on Sunday's BBLB. I had to stop myself from shouting at the TV:

Apparently she also said that she didn't want to interview Keever but was over-ruled. She says, quite rightly, that if they walk they should not have any air time.

Me too! And, i think there should be some sort of conditional policy within the contract that forbids them gaining financially - i.e from Mag deals, personal appearances etc.

On the BBBM following the interview, they showed a "comic" sketch in which Davina tortured Caoimhe for walking...

Although I also agree with Davina's sentiments, the problem I have is that she wasn't quite so outspoken about having to interview Shabby (who she really likes).
Likewise: what's the betting that if John James was to walk (he won't of course, but just for argument's sake), Davina will trip over herself in the rush to interview him?

Whilst Endemol/Channel 4 could impose this as far as their coverage is concerned it really wouldn't work anywhere else. If idiots will pay then no rule imposed by Endemol/C4 could stop that.
