Dunno about that. 'Cougar' implies there's something predatory and dangerous about any woman who fancies younger men.
Remember Steven Baldwin wouldn't sleep in the next bed to Ivana Trump, for that very reason? As if she'd have fancied his mad ass, anyway.

the term cougar has been used before the tv series Cougar Town...  it originally referred to a certain type of woman that targetted young men..  wealthy older women, usually very well groomed, who would go for a bit of young muscled totty.

Nowt wrong with that.... I can see their point...  they take care of themselves and are single and wanting a bit of action... and they look round within their own age group and see pot bellies, high waisted slacks, cardigans etc...
