Why do most of the girls this year wear false eyelashes? not sure if this includes josie. They must have brought about 20million pairs of false eyelashes in, and what a pain in the arse to put them on every day!!!!!

When I was 15-16 years old I wore them every day 9in the 1970's) .......................it was hard to give them up TBH .........I looked positively ill without them. I took the plunge when I changed job. I was shocked to see Corin without hers ......she looked a different person altogether.

Corin did, and even odder without her eyebrows. They cost about ÂĢ5 a go though, that's a lot of money on eyelashes in that house. I wonder if they wear them every day in the outside world?
there was a time i never left the house without ........................ electric blue mascara

I've tried and failed many times to put false eye lashes on - I get the glue nice and tacky then the bliddy things stick to everything but my lids
On a different note it's been reported (don't know how true it is) but girls are losing their natural eyelashes and having bald spots because of false eyelashes just like hair extensions.
Like I said, don't know how true it is but it's scared me enough not to want to put them on now

Should use a couple of tame spiders.
In short ... They have no telly.
IIn the 1970's I used to buy a top and bottom pair every week. They were 55p a set ...............ÂĢ1.10 out of my wages. I'd wear the new set on an evening when I went out and the week old pair became my work pair the following week (if that makes sense) I know it sounds ridiculously cheap now but in 1974/75 that was a lot of money.
And ..............I never lost my original eyelashes although I wore them constantly for about two years.

I sometimes use those semi permanent ones, that stay on for about a week. but after you have slept in them a couple of nights they look all crinkled and go off at odd angles then your stuck with the buggers because the stuff thats meant to get them off a) doesnt work and b) stings your eyes.
I have never worn false eyelashes

I wear Naturalites, but get different ones as I can't always get what I want.Superdrug does them.Mine last me months.I always make sure I have a good supply.I did get my last lot on line, because I couldn't find the glue anywhere and started to panic. So I now have 3 bottles, lets hope it doesn't dry up before I need it.

i once bought some of the girls aloud ones, the sarah ones i think. needed a crane to open my eyes they were so massive!
Naturalites are not heavy, you can get them in different lengths and thickness. The first pair I ever bought were like you had Gypsie. My eyes looked like piss holes in the snow. You live and learn
The GA ones are on special in Superdrug, or they were last week when Madame was emptying my purse.
Edited to correct typos which are proving spectacular this week.

Noooo one set was lovely, I can't remember whos though, it may have been Cheryl's
I did some modeling work for a German Magazine when I was 18 and I had to put on false eyelashes every day for the shoot. My left eye went very strange and I had to stop the falsies. It didn't really matter because my eyelashes were really big when I was young.
