This is an appreciation thread... read the title?
According to the title this thread is to appreciate the Bitching Society that Caoimhe owns, or the Society that bitches ABOUT Caoimhe.
It might be that you can't have it both ways, MrMeaty: an appreciation thread AND a busy thread*

Sorry should have let you give the proper pronunciation Meaty.
Will people ever learn what?
I must say I can't see HOW that could EVER be pronounced Kee-Va, but at least you've cleared up why you all keep calling her Kevin.

Lori the Irish Gaelic language is complicated....The alphabet is shorter ,no JKQVWXYZ so other letters combined create these sounds....Then we have slender vowels and consonants ,depending on what vowel the consonant is preceded or followed determines the sound.
Slender vowels??
Now we've REALLY hijacked the thread, huh? But at least it's not got cobwebs!

Slender vowels and consonants are easier to comprehend than when we get to Lenition and Eclipsis....Then I do run for the hills.
Easier for YOU, maybe!
As for Lenition and Eclipsis....those sound like religious holidays!
