I see that the new Parrott AR Drone will soon be available fro HMV for ÂĢ299. This is a Wifi controlled quadricopter capable of flying inside houses and in the outdoors. It also can be used as a controller in specially written video games. People use their I-Phone to control the quadricopter.

Although this looks sensational and could be the major hit of 2010 and beyond, I have a concern from a safety aspect (such as do we really want this coming down your High Street, flying into shops), and from a privacy aspect (how long will it be before someone decides to fly it into their neighbour's house.
